Fig's first post.

Well, Dee's picture preview pretty much summed up the entire recording session with Rushmore. The whole process went much smoother than I think anyone involved expected it to, and all of you will be extremely impressed with the final product (whenever we actually get it finished, lol). The whole experience was really a blast from the past for everyone involved, and I think that's what made it so much more fun. Other that that, The Wonder Years pre-sale tickets should be here in the next day or so. You guys can get them from any of the bands on the show, or from Deanna and myself. The show is gonna be great; you should all try to make it. We also finally found a venue for the January 30th show. It's gonna be at the Pennsgrove Elks' Lodge. I really hope that everyone can make it out to these two shows; they're the first ones we've done in awhile, and we really do it better than anyone else in South Jersey. Come and check it out for yourself.

Also, everyone should listen to Two Tongues if you're not like me and haven't had their 2 tracks on repeat for the past 6 months. =]

Happy Holidays!

Recording Session One.

I'll eventually post all of the pictures on our Myspace and Flickr accounts,
but for now, here's just a tiny glimpse into what our day was like.

First post.

I have no voice whatsoever and my throat is beyond raw. I guess having one of these blogs really does come in handy, even if no one ever reads this. Fig ordered the pre-sale tickets today for The Wonder Years show on January 17th, 2009. So once they come in, you can get yours from me or Fig or any of the bands on the show. This coming Sunday starts the first day of recording for the first ever DBF! Sampler. We'll be in Philly recording some live tracks with Rushmore. On Tuesday, I'll be going into the studio with The Winter Sparrow while they start recording their new stuff at Small Hill Studios, and then next Sunday I'll be with them again while they record their live tracks. All in all, it's a hectic time of year without all of this other stuff going on, so I'll try to update as much as I can, just bear with me.
